In order to fix the issue, uninstall the webcam software (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) and go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager, expand the Imaging devices list, right-lick the webcam driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot the PC and navigate to Acer website, identify your computer model, select your operating system and download the webcam driver and software. Install the webcam application and go to Device Manger, right-click the webcam entry from Imaging device list and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the driver package and select and install it following the provided instructions.
