I want to model a cylindrical cavern in FLAC3D.

I want to calculate the cylinder volume changes with respect to time in FLAC3D. The volume of this cylindrical cavern which lies underground, changes under creep displacement. The field stress state is hydrostatic and cavern's wall is subject to a uniform internal pressure. Can you help?

Unfortunately, there isn't any tutorial or guide that will help you model the cylindrical cavern using these parameters. My recommendation is to contact Itasca Consulting Group, the developers of FLAC3D and ask for instructions. You can get in touch with them using Software Support page.
