In order to fix the issue, you need to update your video card drivers. Go to Start, type dxdiag and open the utility. Click the Display tab, check your video card model and download the latest drivers from the developer's page. Once you download the drivers to your computer, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the Display Adapters list, right-click on the driver and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the downloaded package, select the driver and install it following the on-screen instructions. After that, update VLC Media Player to the latest version, install Combined Community Codec Pack and play your videos.
