In order to fix the issue, I suggest you upgrade the software to the latest version. Navigate to the official web page, click the red Download button, save the file to your computer and install it following the on-screen instructions. If you're using Windows Vista or a newer Windows platform, go to HP Download page, identify your printer model and download the latest software available, because HP Image Zone is compatible only with Windows XP and below.
If you still have issues, go to Start, type Windows Firewall with Advanced Security and open the utility. Select Inbound Rules press the New Rule option from the right. Check the Port box, click Next, select All local Ports or enter the ports from the HP forum and follow the self-explained steps.
