Launch CalQuan and click the 
icon. In the empty field next to Set Current button enter a name for each layer and press New Layer. After that, click OK and all the layers will appear on the list below the toolbox:
When you want to draw something, select the layer you want to use and start the process. After you finish, you can select another layer and draw something else.
