I have a VGN-FE31H laptop for 6 years. A week ago, I returned my PC to its factory settings. I needed to do this, because my PC was really loaded. I have updated everything and it works really well. However, when I'm using Skype, it can't find my camera. It says that the camera doesn't exist. I live abroad and this is the only way to see my family. Can you help?

If it doesn't recognize your webcam, go to the Sony Support page, select your operating system and download the webcam drivers. After that, right-click the Computer icon, select Manage and open the Device Manager. Right-click the Sony webcam from the Imaging Devices section and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the installation package, select the downloaded driver and install it following the provided instructions. If it still doesn't work, check the troubleshooting guide provided by Skype.
