In order to solve this issue, go to Battlefield: Bad Company installation directory and open the pbsvc.exe file. Check the Install/Re-Install PunkBuster Service box, click Next and follow the provided instructions. Also, press Windows+R key combination, type Services.msc and hit Enter. Locate the PnkBstraA entry and click the Start button from the left.
