Changing the voice in Audacity.

Can you help me to change my recorded voice in a telephone voice?

Launch the application, create a new recording project or import one from your computer, go to Effects and press Amplify. Increase the volume of your recording as much as you can and then check the Allow clipping box. Click Preview to see if you can hear clearly the voice and press OK. If you can't, decrease constantly the volume until it sounds OK. After that, go again to Effects menu and open High Pass Filter. Set the Rolloff option to 6 dB and the Cutoff frequency to 1000 Hz. Press OK and increase and decrease the volume as needed. If you have issues, use Google search engine to find additional video tutorials.
