Problems with the SRS function of my LG R590P laptop.

I just bought an LG R590P, but there is something wrong with the SRS surround sound button/function. It doesn't work because it says that SRS only works on something with SRS on it. If there is no SRS on it why is there in the labels. Also, it doesn't switch between SRS on and off and HD modes due to this reason. Can you help?

The SRS function is not working because there are some problems with the audio drivers. In order to fix the issue, you will need to update the drivers of the audio card. Since there isn't an online resource available to download them, you will need to contact the official developers and ask for the installation package. Once you receive it, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the Sound, video and game controllers list, right-click the audio drivers and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the received package, select the drivers and install them following the on-screen instructions.
