If you can't open the Hotmail attachments, open Internet Explorer, select Tools and press the Internet Options. Navigate to the Advanced tab, click Reset and follow the provided instructions. In order to correct the Kaspersky error, you need to update the database. Open Kaspersky Internet Security, click the Update icon from below and then Run Update. Also, you can press the system protection indicator and click Run Update option next to Databases. If the problem is not solved, restart the antivirus and try to update it again.
