Why does Microsoft Office Outlook close when I click to minimize?

Every time I minimize my Microsoft Office Outlook it closes completely. I have to re-open the Outlook each time, if I wish to see my e-mails. What can I do?

It doesn't close. Microsoft Office Outlook have the option to minimize to the Notification Area. If you want to prevent that, right-click the Microsoft Office Outlook icon in the Notification Area of the Taskbar and uncheck Hide When Minimize.
