Sometimes AVG refuses to uninstall because of the corrupted files. When this happens, you can use the remover tools available from the AVG website. These tools were created to remove AVG applications even if they refuse to uninstall. The applications will use secret handlers that when applied to uninstallers, it will allow their uninstallation. Make sure to choose the correct version of the remover based on your Windows version.
