You can remove the application when you want it because it does not have an impact on your printer or system's functionality. This gathers data related to printer and the way you use the printer and that's it. It can be easily removed from the Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP)/Programs and Features (Windows Vista and higher).
