I have been using IE Download Helper on my computer for some time. Last week the icon disappeared from the status bar for no apparent reason. I have been unable to reinstall it. Can anyone help me, please?
Just download the package again. The cause to this issue is Windows Update. The computer performed the update procedure and installed a new version of Internet Explorer making IE Download Helper being incompatible with the newly installed browser. You need to download the new version of the add-on and you should be able to download it again.
