Transferring the data from HTML to Excel requires a few extra steps. You cannot simply copy the HTML code and paste it into Excel because of the bad formatting that will result or no pasting at all. The easiest way to do this is to select only different portions of the text then copy and paste them into a cell in Excel. You will realize that no text will be pasted and a Paste Options ribbon will appear. Click the icon and then customize the layout of the text. If it is necessary increase the number of rows and columns which will handle the data.
