Exporting the chat conversations to Gmail account.

I'm looking to export the chat conversations from a particular contact on my Gmail account. I would like these to be saved on my machine. Can you help me?

All your Google Chat conversations are saved in Gmail under CHAT unless you have turned it off.

The chat conversations are saved automatically to your Gmail account. If you want to check a conversation from a particular contact on Gmail, double click on its name, press the enter image description here icon and select View past chats. You will be redirected automatically to your Gmail account. Alternatively, open Gmail, paste in:chats from:(contact_name@gmail.com) in the search bar and press the search button.
