Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup and run the utility. Also, type cmd in the Search programs and files field and open the utility using Administrator rights. Type sfc /scannow, press Enter and follow the provided instructions. After that, right-click on the Computer icon, select Manage and go to Device Manager. Locate your audio device and update the drivers. Open the Sound window (Control Panel > Hardware and Sound) and select the Recording tab. Right-click anywhere in the provided box and check the Show disabled devices option. Double-click on your desired device and select Enable from the Device usage option.
