Treasure Puzzle not working after XP Professional SP3 was installed.

Question

I loved this game when I was running XP Professional SP2, but after a system reload and installation of SP3, I can't get the game to work. I re-installed it after the reload, but when I click on the icon to play it, I just get the music, but no video, no cursor, just a blank screen. Can't get rid of it with ALT+TAB; Task Manager doesn't work; and I have to hit the computer's Reset button and crash the system. I first downloaded it from Gametop.com, then from here, and the files are all the exact same size. Any suggestions?

Try to update the video and sound driver. Additionally, install the latest DirectX, then reinstall the game only after you've cleaned the registry items with CCleaner.
