This is in Win 7 Pro so probably same in other versions: Go to Control Panel, click Hardware & Sound, you should find at the bottom your Biometric Devices. Hope that is helpfull.

In order to fix the issue, download the latest package provided by Lenovo on your computer, press Windows + Pause/Break key combination and open Device Manager. Expand the Biometric Devices list, right-click on the driver and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the downloaded package, select the driver and install it following the on-screen instructions. After that, navigate to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Biometric Devices > Change Biometric Settings and select Biometrics On and Allow users to Log on to Windows options.
