Sometimes you may need to unplug and plug the camera back or simply restart the PC. However, if you installed the driver, go to Device Manager and right click the camera and then Update Driver. Use the automatic installer first and then specify manually the path to the driver. It should be located in the installation folder from Program Files. The brand of the webcam should be the folder's name. Select the INF file, accept any other driver prompts and restart the computer. The camera should be functional now.
