The iPod device doesn't get detected.

The Apple Mobile Device Support software is not working. My iPod Touch is still not being recognized in iTunes and the mobile support is not showing my services list. What is to be done?

The easiest way to fix these issues is by uninstalling all the applications from Apple, then do a clean install of the iTunes. Firstly, uninstall iTunes and all the necessary applications and then use CCleaner to remove the registry items associated with the Apple products. Reboot the computer, install the iTunes application again, and connect the device. It should be detected and installed correctly. After its installation, the device will be available within the iTunes interface.
