I have a 2007 Model S90i Navman with original mapping installed only. It tells me to take the 2nd exit at roundabouts that have been removed in 2005 and replaced with traffic lights, here in Townsville. If I downloaded the "Latest maps" for my model, will I notice existing roads built after 2005?

Yes. Usually this kind of changes can be noticed after the maps have been updated. However, because your model was produced after 2005, it should already have the updated maps with the existing roads built after that time. In this case, you should test the product for yourself because the update process is free of charge.
