In order to fix the issue, I suggest you download and install the latest version of Trimble Data Transfer software. After that, connect your Trimble 5800 device to your computer, launch the software, select the device from the first drop-down list, click the Receive tab, select the files you want to download and press Transfer All. The data will be automatically transferred to your computer. You can find the path to the default output directory below the Destination menu. You can change it from the Settings menu.
