You need to check the Device Manager. Locate the camera and remove it, then attempt a new installation using the driver package. Notice that the Dell Webcam Central works only with Dell cameras. There is no way to make it work with an external camera. However, if you have a Dell camera installed in your laptop, re-install Dell Webcam Central, but make sure that you run the software as Administrator. It should work this way. For any other webcam attached to the PC, install YouCam, an application that supports all the connected PC cameras.
