The only way to check if there is a new firmware for your phone is to use Motorola Phone Tools application. Connect the phone then check if there is no firmware. On the other hand, it seems that this phone didn't received another firmware upgrade or update. It has a Linux OS installed which didn't need updates since it was running just fine for what the phone has to offer.
