Microsoft Outlook 2007 cannot be reopened after normal use.

Program won't open. Am I forced to run a repair from CD? Will this operation fix the problem?

Yes, when you have problems related to startup, it's best to use the Repair functions offered by the installer. You can access Repair from the Control Panel > Add or Remove programs/Programs and Features (Windows XP/Windows Vista or higher). Select the Office package in the list then click Uninstall/Remove and select Repair instead of the actual Uninstall option.
