No direct navigation for ASUSUpdate.

Going to the top level of ASUS's site is pretty useless - they don't allow direct navigation?

Yes, the site doesn't allow direct navigation when you use the ASUSUpdate application, however, it's known that the software gives errors when it comes to BIOS flashing. It's recommended to download the firmware on a supported storage device, then the flashing operation should be done directly from BIOS.
