How do I start Windows Defender manually?

To start Windows Defender manually go to: Start icon (Bottom left) ,Then: Control Panel, Then In the left Colum be sure you are in: Classic View, scroll to Windows Defender Icon or link and click it. At the very top Click on: Tools Then click Options To configure and to Start the program!

Go to Start, type Windows Defender in the Search programs and files box and open the application. If you receive a This program is turned off message select the option to turn it on. You can perform a Quick, Full or Custom scan from the Scan tab or you can configure the antivirus from the Tools option. For further information, press the Help icon.
