I myself have the software installed on my computer and it's set up to start with Windows because you never know when an update is released. Having it running at all times, ensures that your applications get updated fast. I find it that the memory print of the software is rather low and it doesn't interfere with my work. Yes, it's best to keep the application in the Startup list to start when Windows starts.
