Have you tried the following... Start => Control Panel => Add or Remove Program => Avast Antivirus.....Change/Remove (as per Windows XP)

I can't Uninstall Avast because my security system doesn't permit me to do it. I would like to do it to reinstall another one.

i mistakely deleted my avast anti-virus.and now i cannot uninstall it.

hi,I cant uninstall avast,even from control panel,and I also cant reinstall it.what else can I do? it said there is setiface error!! :( thanks for helping me :)

In order to uninstall Avast Antivirus you need to use Avastclear uninstallation utility. Download the application from the developer web page, start Windows in Safe Mode by pressing F8 before the Windows logo appears, open the uninstaller and click REMOVE.
