I can't use Dell PC Tuneup due to an error.

I downloaded Dell PC Tuneup and I receive "Access violation at address 13208997 in module 'PCtuneup.exe' read of address 00000000" error message. I cannot contact Dell technical support as I need a valid service tag. I have tried telephoning Dell but they want me to use Presto and charge me £39 for support. How can I solve the issue?

This error occurs because there is a conflict between Dell PC TuneUp and your security program. In order to solve it, temporarily disable your antivirus software and reinstall Dell PC TuneUp. After that, go to your antivirus settings and add Dell PC TuneUp in the Exception/Allow list.
