I want to recover the data stored in PSD (Personal Secure Disk).

I want to recover the data stored in PSD (Personal Secure Disk). When I try to open it, it displays a "Malfunctioning error" and it is asking me to reboot or reinstall Acer eDataSecurity Management. If I will try to reinstall a newer version, the previous version will be removed. How can I recover my data?

Yes, if you install a newer version of Acer eDataSecurity Management, the old version will be removed. However, the libraries with your stored data will not disappear and you should be able to recover them using the new version of Acer eDataSecurity Management. Navigate to the official web page, identify your computer model, select you operating system and download and install the software from the Applications tab.
