I'm not able to uninstall Adobe Reader 8.1. I get an "Internal Error 2211" message. What can I do?

I suggest you uninstall the application using the instructions provided by Adobe Systems Incorporated. If this doesn't help, try Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.
