I don't know if I have the updated version of Windows Media Player.

I already have Windows Media Player installed on my computer, but I don't know if it is updated or not. Can you help?

Open the program, click Help>About, and it will tell you the version number.

The latest version of Windows Media Player is Windows Media Player 12. In order to check if you're running the latest one, launch the program press Alt + H key combination and click the About Windows Media Player option. The version number will appear below the WMP icon. If you're not running the latest one, press again Alt + H key combination, click Check for updates and follow the on-screen instructions.
