Can I install NetBeans IDE on a computer with 256MB RAM memory?

No, you can't install the NetBeans IDE application on a computer with 256MB RAM. It requires on all platforms (Windows, Solaris, Ubuntu, Mac OS X) at least 512MB of RAM memory.
