I can't launch my DSD Direct Player due to an error.

I can't launch my DSD Direct Player when I insert an audio CD. I receive an "Unable to initialize the audio device" error message. What can I do?

In order to fix the issue, right-click on Computer icon, select Manage and open Device Manager. Expand the Sound, video and game controllers list, right-click on the audio driver and select Uninstall. After that, type dxdiag in the Search programs and files box from the Start menu and open the utility. Click the Sound tab, check your sound card model and download and install the latest drivers available from the developer's web page. Next, navigate to Start > All Programs > SonicStage Mastering Studio folder, open SonicStage Mastering Studio and select the Use DSD mode option.
