Samsung PC Studio is asking for a password.

Question

I bought Samsung PC Studio for my Samsung D807. It worked fine when I first installed it, but now it is asking for a password. I remove it from my computer and reinstalled it, but it is still asking for a password. What can I do?

After u un-install it , go into your registry and delete the ols Samsung PC Studio files. That is the reason this is happening due to the fact your computer recognizes the program has been installed before. Go to HKEYCURRENTUSER, go to Software and find Samsung ,click on it then find Samsung PC Studio and delete all remnants of left behind (right click and select delete).. Next go to HKEY_USERS u will see numbers such as S-1-5-18 then u wil see one with more numbers such as S-1-5-21-1017465001-2789979257-3684444893-1000 (your #'s will not be exactly the same) and when u see the larger number click on it and go down to Software , click on it and then find Samsung, click on it then find Samsung PC Studio and right click on it and delete it. Restart comp & re-install.

To get to the registry editor you will need to go to the Start button, then select run. When the box pops up type in regedit and it will take you to where the places I described will be. If you need any more help just re-post. Good luck.

In order to fix the issue, remove the software from your computer and run CCleaner or another registry cleaner from Software Informer database to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system. After that, reboot your computer and install the software again. If you still have problems, try using Samsung Kies instead of Samsung PC Studio.
