Our Autograph 6 is using too much ink when printing a label for our CD. This problem began when the type of paper was changed to 'glossy' within the DISCUS program. The ink usage is now too heavy for our project and nothing seems to deter the Autograph 6 from printing as if it's still on 'glossy'. We have tried changing the paper quality to all types, restarting the PC, working in Disc-juggler and changing programs.

This problem can be fixed by adjusting the printing preferences. It's useless if you just changed the paper. You need to start one of the applications, then when you are in the Print menu, access Properties and change the color profiles, colors used, INK usage, etc. That's the only place where you could change these settings regarding ink management and printing.
