I want to unregister from software updates on my Android phone.

I have mistakenly registered my Micromax A57 phone for receiving updates. How to unregister from it? I don't want to be kept charging for these updates?

Please press the Menu button then go to Settings > About Device > Software Update and cancel any pending updates. The problem is that once you've registered for updates, the phone will continue to scan for updates. To stop this process, go to Settings > Applications Manager > All. Identify Software Update in the list and Force Stop it. You will need to do this every time you restart your phone.
