I just bought AVS Video Converter. When I've converted a file, there is no sound on the film. What am I missing? Can you give me a direct URL to the Audio Codec which I am obviously missing? Thanks in advance.

Sincerely, Jan Iversen.

AVS Video Converter should have all the codecs needed for most file formats but in case you're missing the audio encoder/decoder, download ffdshow as it's the most common audio/video encoder/decoder available. If you want advanced tools then Combined Community Codec Pack is the way to go as it has everything for decoding or encoding video and audio files.

Does the problem persist when you convert a particular file/files of a particular format/every file?
If this is a certain file or files from the same source, please open one of them in AVS Video Converter, choose the preset, then click on Advanced > File Information and attach a screenshot of this window.
Have you tried playing the converted files in different players?
When you preview the source file in AVS Video Converter (in Edit window) is there sound?
Hope to hear from you soon.
