My T700 cell phone displays the following when charging "Serious error. Stop charging. Stop using your phone and contact a Sony Ericsson call center. Is this a known problem?
If your phone displays this error, the software might be corrupted. Here is what you can do. Go to the following link http://www.sonymobile.com/us/tools/pc-companion/ and download and install PC Companion. After connecting your mobile to PC, this application will detect and update the software of your device. If this doesn't work, try a different charger. As a last resort, contact your local dealer or take it to a service center, because it might be a hardware problem.
