Micromax A116 email issue.

I am facing problems with my mails. I've set up my mail ID : matthew@____.com (domain of Gmail server) into my Micromax A116 Canvas HH mobile.

  1. Mails are coming in, but after some time they disappear; my inbox becomes empty.

  2. Some mails that come into my mobile vanish, and those mails are not displayed in Microsoft outlook when I use my laptop.

Can anyone help me, please?

Please log in Gmail and go to Manage Settings. Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP then tweak the IMAP settings so that emails remain on both sides (web & phone). Instead of using Email app, I recommend you download Gmail application because Email app uses IMAP instead of POP and it's becomes complicated if the accounts are not properly set up.
