UMX 670C Net10 phone password recovery and reset

Question

My daughter has this phone and one of my nephews got ahold of the phone and set a password but does not know what he put. How can I unlock the phone so that we can put a password that we remember? Please help!

The phone has a Factory Reset option but it's accessible only from the Settings menu and since you cannot access the phone, it's impossible to use it. According to the web information, the phone lacks recovery mode but you can try it for yourself. Keep Power Up + Power (and sometimes Menu button) until you enter Recovery. If it works, you can use Wipe Data to factory reset the phone and remove any settings and passwords.

Another solution is to take the phone to a local phone repair shop and it will be resat for a very small fee.

Very user friendly and good conentt. Will changes to lender policies be updated on an ongoing basis (e.g. so we can rely that their product info is current on this site?). Who should we email any updates we come across to so it can be updated on the site Dale?It would be handy to have categories we could click on to see which lender will do what' .so we can look in to their respective policies/guidelines' to see if deal will fit' e.g rentals , BFS stated' ; purchase in a company name, non-resident lenders, etc.
