My pictures are grouped by individual days. How do I switch them to month groups?

It all depends on what software are you using to display pictures. Usually, this option is located in the Sort menu. You can sort after months, years, tags, days, etc. Please look for Sort menu and select By Month and your pictures will be arranged based on your option.
