What writing software do publishers use?

I'm an author-to-be, and I use OpenOffice. Do any publishing companies use that?

Publishers also use OpenOffice because it's actually free in the first place. Microsoft Office package is also used along with Adobe InDesign for design publishing. Also, Kingsoft Office is used due to various features it provides.
