How can I remove an item from my Firefox browser? I ran the uninstallation but it's still there, I don't like it!

How can I remove an item from my Firefox browser? I ran the uninstallation but it's still there. I don't like it!

All the items that are currently installed in the Firefox browser are located under the Add-ons menu. From that menu you can uninstall all the add-ons, toolbars, plug-ins and everything that is installed and running. If you want additional removal options, you can try to run Mozilla in Safe-Mode using the shortcut from the All Programs > Mozilla Firefox menu.

Disabling an add on in FF doesn't take effect until you restart it. I imagine the same is true of removal. Have you tried (quitting and) restarting FF?
