Question regarding newly purchased computer.

I have a newly purchased computer with the following specs:

HP Elitebook 8530W Memoty: 3.8 GB CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 @ 2.53 GHz GPU: Gallium 0.4 nv96 HDD: 160 GB

I need you to recommend me an OS to use on this computer. I am using Ubuntu now.

Your computer is more than capable of running the latest Windows 8 operating system. If you plan to use Windows, then Windows 8 is a good start, but regarding performance and graphic or gaming capabilities, I recommend on using Windows 7. Ubuntu is good too but since't it's a Linux system based OS, latest games and application are not usually available.
