In order to scan, make sure the drivers are installed along with the support software. When you do that, just lift the top cover, position of the document or object you want to scan and press the scan button on the top of the device. Depending on the default settings, the final product will be opened on the computer automatically from where you can modify it or save it to a location of choice.
