Good evening,
I was trying to install the Sims2 Freetime and as soon as I press the button "Play" a box appears and says that "Could not write license data". Can you help me?

This error can be caused by a SecuROM issue. SecuROM is a CD/DVD copy protection and digital rights management product. Many opponents, including the Electronic Frontier Foundation, believe SecuROM, like many DRM applications, is used to restrict one's fair-use rights. Try deleting the SecuROM folder by following these steps: press Start from your Taskbar, hit Run, type cmd and press OK. In the newly open command line interface, type rd /s "%APPDATA%\SecuROM and press Enter. Type Y for the Y/N question and press the Enter key again. If this doesn't work, try renaming the SecuRom folder in c:\users\"your user"\appdata\Roaming.
