Convert MP3 to MP4?

I have a client who wants to know if it is possible to convert MP3 files to MP4 files on a MacBook. The research I have completed suggested it is not possible. This person would like to record lecture and research on an iPod.

Indeed there are few applications available that allow you to convert MP3 to MP4 format but these have bugs and don't work correctly. Instead of using an application, I advise you use an online service to convert your file. It's easier and more convenient than installing and purchasing a product that eventually might work.
